All PetCloud Pet Sitters and Walkers who wish to take on opportunities to care for pets  through our Government Partners such as the NDIS, must:

  1. Read our several new NDIS Policy pages 

  2. You need to comply with the NDIS’ Code of Conduct for Workers

  3. You need to know how to help an NDIS Participant make a complaint to PetCloud.

  4. You must know what constitutes an NDIS Reportable Incident & swiftly report any incidents within 12hrs to our Incident form which goes to our NDIS Bookings Coordinator.

  5. You need to complete the NDIS’ worker orientation e-learning module called ‘Quality, Safety and You’, that covers human rights, respect, risk, and the roles and responsibilities of NDIS workers

  6. Download your Certificate of Completion from the NDIS & upload on your PetCloud Verifications page 

  7. Upload an evidence document of your Right to work in Australia to your Verifications screen

Acceptable documents are one of the following:

  • Evidence of Permanent resident status

  • Temporary Visa with entitlement to work

  • Australian or NZ Passport

  • Certificate of Australian Citizenship

  • Australian Birth Certificate.

8. Email & tell us you are ready to be verified so we can cross-check & allocate your NDIS badge and Right to Work in Australia badge.

9. Payment - Each day please create and submit timesheets for every job.  You will be invited into Xero’s “My Payroll”.  

Note: At no time are you a direct employee of PetCloud, you are a subcontractor. This means you are responsible for your own tax and super matters.

10. After this, Sitters can be allocated an “NDIS trained” badge by a PetCloud Customer Support Member.
